Kenya Tree Coral (Capnella sp.)

The Kenya Tree Coral is one of the easiest and fastest-growing corals in the reef hobby—perfect for beginners who want a hardy, forgiving soft coral. Its tree-like branches sway beautifully in the current and add natural movement to the aquarium.

This coral thrives in conditions that might stress other corals, tolerating lower light and higher nutrients. It’s easy to propagate by cutting and attaching pieces to live rock, making it a great option if you want to expand or share frags. However, because it grows so quickly, it’s best placed on isolated rockwork “islands” to prevent it from overtaking nearby corals.
